Hi, As per your complain the symptoms of smelly drainage from my ear, swelling into my jaw, neck, behind ear, closed ear with severe pain and swelling extending to jaw and pain in neck that can be due to swollen glands can be due to a case of severe and chronic ear infection. It needs immediate medical treatment and you should not delay and consult an ENT surgeon soon. You can be advised x rays, MRI Scan, blood tests and pus culture to rule out the exact nature of bacteria causing the infection and the severity and spread of infection. You can be advised intravenous and injectable antibiotics, steroids and anti inflammatory painkillers. A long course of oral antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkillers and steroids can be advised for resolution. You can also be advised surgical drainage of the ears along with regular dressings. As of now you can start taking anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
