Suggest Treatment For Osteoporosis, Chronic Dry Cough And Tickling Feeling In Throat

51 year old male, 5 10 170lbs, health issue is Osteoporosis which I take Actonel monthly, BPH taking Flomax I have had a chronic dry cough over the past 3-4 months. It feels like a constant tickle on back of throat and into upper chest area. At times it feels like I am constantly clearing my throat with sporadic coughing attacks. I have treated with Allergy meds, cough suppressants with limited effectiveness. It has gone beyond feeling like seasonal allergies. I do not have high blood pressure. Any thoughts or suggestions? JB

Hello,

In my opinion, this is an allergic situation which needs steroids now if the first medication has not had worked. You need to do a spirometry test and a chest X-ray. Please discuss this with your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
