Suggest Treatment For Open Sores

I have some open sores. Don t know what caused them for sure even though I went to two Dermatologists who did punch biopsies. Think it s a reaction to a medication. My question is why do some of them have white centers, at the bottom, and they don t seem to heal over it like the sores w/out that do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Open sores in the skin can be related to many medical conditions. One of the common conditions is allergic reaction to the medications. I suggest using an antihistamine such as Cetirizine. I also suggest to use steroid creams for local application.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
