I have had a headache that comes and goes for the past month. The pain has been so bad at times that I have thrown-up twice. I have had times when I see black floaters in my eyes. I have had dizzy spells. For the past twelve hours the right side of my head has felt numb

I had gone through your query.

Certain investigation is necessary to reach proper cause.

1st is blood pressure and other routine test.

Hypertension is the commonest cause of headache.

2nd require is fundas examination.

It will shows any papillodeama that suggest raise in interracial tension.
MRI brain will helpful to rule out any pressure producing lesion or space occupying lesions.

If all come normal then no need to worry.

It may be due to stress or tension type headache.

simple analgesic or amitryptiline can be useful in tension headache.

Migraine headache is also need to be ruled out.
