Neurologist, Surgical 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

In my opinion you should consult a Neurologist and discuss about possible causes of your symptoms.

These include Occipital Neuralgia ( compression of occipital nerves along their way from neck to head), Neuropathy ( diabetic, toxic etc), or nck soft tissue ( muscles, tendons ) damage.

Medications you use only improve the pain, appropriate treatment should be started after correct diagnosis.

Warm procedures on your neck and physical therapy should help.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
