General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to occipital neuralgia. I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

If the symptoms continue you should consult your doctor about prescription medication such as Gabapentin or Pregabalin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
