Suggest Treatment For Occassional Severe Abdominal Pain And Vomiting
I m concerned about my son s occasional severe abdominal pain with vomiting. He was at the ER twice this weekend & given pain meds. (Dilaudid) which didn t help. Later given Ativan which helped. Both MR & ultrasound tests found no abnormalities. He was sent home & we had to return 4 hours later when he experienced the same pain. He was given the same meds. & later released. He is very weak and while he was better yesterday, this morning he woke up in cold sweats. He has gone to his Dr. who prescribed antidepressant meds. (Escitalopram & Dicylomine). I m just wondering if this could be something else like abdominal epilepsy?
