Suggest Treatment For Occasional Bed Wetting In Adults
Hello, my sister is 20 years old and every now and then she wets the bed at night. It is unexplainable. Weeks/Month can pass without anything happening, and then urination during the night just happens. Should she go to the doctor and get this checked out? It is embarassing for her but I still support her 100%. I just wanted to know have you all ever heard of this before?
I understand the amount of embarrassment that is associated with this sort of problem and especially in a young lady of 20 years of old. However, you are correct in thinking about a doctor's appointment because there are many cases of this sort of thing that are being caused either by a urinary or kidney infection, or some type of anatomical defect in her urinary system. This is a MUCH MORE COMMON problem in both men and women....nothing to be ashamed of really. Now, since sleep is an associated factor she also may be suffering from a sleep disorder of some sort so if nothing else pans out a sleep study may be in order. Please rate this with a 5 star grade if you would and I'd be very appreciative. If you'd like to write me for this or any other medical problem then, please do so at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi All the best to your sister.
