I had surgery for a left sub clavian base aneurysm 4 weeks ago. surgeon re-routed the left subclavian through the left carotid artery. since surgery, my left hand has been very numb and has suffered increasing pain and discomfort, including burning sensations, needle sensations, and other forms of pain. it has also suffered loss of use and loss of strength. How long will this continue? is there any treatment? I am on vicodin, neurontin, and aleve, but it isnt enough. thank you

Well come to HCM
If the symptoms are due to nerve damage because of either disease or due surgical procedure so depend how and where the nerve being damaged and according this treatment decided and explanation provided, some this may be reversible and some time not, in either condition physiotherapy is the only way you can try, have a nice day.
