General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Numbness in toe could be caused by many medical conditions some of which are:
-Post stress numbness/tight shoes
-Peripheral neuropathy
-Diabetic neuropathy
-Mononeuropathy
-Peripheral vascular disease
-Ionic imbalances like low calcium, magnesium
-Vitamin deficiency
-Liver/kidney problems
There are just so many causes.I will advise you see your GP for evaluation and if need be, the opinion of a Neurologist will be requested. You will need work-ups like fasting blood sugar, Full blood count, serum electrolytes, liver/kidney function tests.Further neurologic work-ups may be requested if need be.In the meantime, you may rest well, avoit too tight shoes, massage toe occasionally.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
