Suggest Treatment For Nose Injury

My 2 year old hit me on my upper part on my nose, right on round bone playing around. The pain has spread and anywhere on my nose is killing. I had no nose bleed or swelling. I have a bad headache in my eyes and tingling on nose right down to my top lip and top gums. My nose is dripping some clear fluid. It happened 24 hrs ago and getting stronger tingling. I ve taken Advil it s not doing anything.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Clear fluid may indicate that you may have sustained fracture to your cribriform plate of frontal bone and may be there is leakage of Cerebro-Spinal fluid through it. This is an emergency and you need to seek medical help. A simple examination and or a CT scan can rule this out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Tejas, General & Family Physician
