Suggest Treatment For Non Healing Skin Ulcer Diagnosed As SCC

I recently about 2 weeks ago had a biopsy of non healing varicose ulcer and was diagnosed with SCC. I am now at the oncology skin clinic at state hospital and they gave me Dovate to use for 4 days and other ointment afterwards to clear the surrounding red skin. I assume that it will be excised. I am not sure if I have to wear stockings afterwards as before the biopsy I was on ulce-3 (3 layer bandages) for 9 days, but was non-compliant, found it to be too tight. So hopefully, I am on the right track now and the thing will be excised. It seems to be getting bigger. My next appointment is only on 14 July

You are suffering from skin cancer which is probably a reslut of long standing varicose ulcers. The treatment right now will be wide excision of the lesion (with atleast 1cm margins) and reconstruction with flap. This will be followed later by definitive treatment for the varicose ulcers. Mostly such ulcers, specially in non-compliant patients requires surgery. However, it cannot be done at the same time as the surgery for cancer.
