Suggest Treatment For Nerve Damage In The Right Leg

I take care of my Great Aunt she is 85 y/o, I came home yesterday and she called out my name. I arrived upstairs in my home and hound her on the bathroom floor. She was sitting upright and unable to move her legs. I picked her up and sat her on the chair, from there I wanted to see if she could stand which her body was so weak that she could barely stand. My aunt has neuropathy in her feet and she can t feel the bottom of her feet, there is also nerve damage in her right leg from a fall. She tried to walk down the stairs using her 4 prong cane I told her to scoot down the stairs she had a problem even doing that. She has to pick up each leg in order for her to even scoot down just one stair. She made it down the stairs and to the livingroom to sit in her recliner. That was last night I asked her if she wanted to go to the hospital and she is fighting me everyway. I assumed that she was tired and to see how she is today. Well she hasn t moved from the recliner and she is weak you can tell from her voice and how she is slumped over in the chair. I haven t seen her get up and use the bathroom not once since last night (she wears depends). So should I take her to a regular physician or to the emergency room.

Take her to the emergency room. She might have had a stroke or something else very serious, like a heart attack. This needs immediate care so she doesn't get worse. Sudden weakness like this is very concerning. Have her seen right away. Hope this helps.
