Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Vomiting And Shallow Breathing After Having Suboxone

Hi, when should a person do who is experiencing extreme vomiting, nausea, low body temperature (94.4 F), and shallow breathing after taking Suboxone? This person does not seem to be in immediate trouble, as they are starting to feel better and temperature is rising, but I am still worried about them. Could this be serious? He also drank a beer as well today. Could this be an interaction or just a side effect of taking more Suboxone than usual? If not something requiring an ER visit, what can I do at home to help him feel better?

Hi dear , I have gone through your question and i understand your concern. As per history provided you have you have taken more suboxone than usual, leading to side effect.

Suboxone is used to treat narcotic (opiate) addiction
Overdose symptoms may include blurred vision, severe drowsiness, slurred speech, loss of coordination, thinking problems, weakness or limp feeling, and weak or shallow breathing (breathing may stop).
Do not drink alcohol. Dangerous side effects or death can occur when alcohol is combined with Suboxone.

advice -
Seek emergency medical attention.

Suboxone may be habit-forming, even at regular doses. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Never share the medicine with another person. MISUSE OF NARCOTIC PAIN MEDICATION CAN CAUSE ADDICTION, OVERDOSE, OR DEATH, especially in a child or other person using the medicine without a prescription.
