Suggest Treatment For Nausea , Dizziness And Vomiting In A 12 Year Old Girl

My daughter is almost 12 and has started puberty. For the last few months, she has complained about being dizzy and had times of nausea sometimes with the dizziness which has resulted in vomiting. Vomiting not once or twice, but until her stomach is completely empty. Last month she even kept dry heaving. We thought that she had a 24-hour stomach bug, but now that it is happening again, I m wondering if it is just a symptom of puberty for her?

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM). I appreciate your concern regarding your daughter. No these are not signs of puberty at all. I will advise you to take her to a Gastroenterologist who will take detail history and examine her and may do endoscopic examination to find out the cause of vomiting.
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too.
I find this answer helpful
