Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Upset Stomach After Alcohol Intake

Hello Doctor, I was involved in Binge drinking 4 nights before and lost consciousness for 6 hours and was vomiting and releasing foam from my mouth for about 2 hours that night . I was given two injection by a doctor in some hospital and I misplaced the prescriptions. Then a day later I felt weak and had lose motions along with burning sensation in the stomach region. Also it was painful during urinating. I have been taking Rabemac-DSR tablet for 2 days now, as prescribed by one of my college physician. I have to take it daily before breakfast. ALong with that I have been given HORN*O tablets to be taken twice a day after meal. The docotr diagnosed me with Urinary tract infection. Since today morning however, I have developed nauseating feeling. Also I feel uncomfortable and have an upset stomach.

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

I have read all your query and understand the problem.

So,you have been diagnosed as case of Urinary tract infection.

You will require detailed medical history and thoroughly clinical examination by a urologist to get ruled out any other kidney pathology.

Here, you might require antibiotics (quinolones specially levofloxacin in high dose 750 mg instead of 500 mg or amixocillin with clavulanic acid) to combat urinary infection completely with other symptomatic treatment.

You should drink plenty of water with fruit juices and over the counter pain killers like paracetamol and antacids like pantoprazole.

Also, take urinary alkalizer like liquid citralka 2TSf three times day to relive from burning urination.

So,consult and do regular follow-up at your physician or urologist.

Regards,
