Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Mild Stomach Pain

hi, I have been feeling nauseous and had mild stomach pains for the past couple months. Most days I can t really eat anything because I feel like puking. When I do eat I usually have diarrhoea no matter what I eat. I make sure to drink a lot of water so I don t get dehydrated but it is really annoying feeling sick every time I eat. By the end of the day I usually feel okay and am able to eat dinner. But I am trying to lose weight also so its hard because by the end of the day I am starving because I haven t eaten.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Persistent nausea and diarrhea should be assessed by a doctor.

There are different possible causes such as: (1) side effect of medication
(2)irritable bowel syndrome
(3)high calcium, kidney disease, thyroid disease
(4)hepatitis, gallbladder disease, GERD
(5)inflammatory bowel disease
(6)infections

To find out the cause, you would need blood tests such as electrolyte levels, complete blood count, thyroid function, liver function levels, creatinine (checks kidney), ESR (checks inflammation in the body)

Imaging of the abdomen may also be needed.

I hope this helps
