Positional vertigo is the charcteristic symptom in benign paroxysmal positional verigo, which is due to abnormality in your balance system situated i the back of your ear. This is diagnosed by an ent doctor doing specific manoeuvres and the treatment is repositioning of canal particles. Mean while you can limit sudden neck movements till you get appointment.
