Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Dizziness After Taking Ativan

My 46 year old daughter took ativan that was not perscribed to her for anxiety and sleeping. She took it three times 5 days ago, but is now feeling extremely dizzy, nausea, weakness, even a hallucination. How long will it take to get it out of her system and anything we can do to help it along.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I don't think her current symptoms are due to Ativan taken 5 days back.
Ativan stays in body for maximum 2 days.
So better to consult psychiatrist for her current symptoms.
She might have developed psychosis with worsening anxiety.
She will need counseling sessions and antipsychotic drugs.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
