Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Abdominal Pain, Vomiting And Low Grade Fever

Tonight I have sudden onset abdominal pain, bloating, low grade fever, nausea with vomiting, general malaise, right flank pain. Vomiting did relieve some of the bloating, but not all. I cant find a comfortable position to sit or lay in for long. I thought I ate too much or too fast. I have had a few loose BM s. I thought stones too, but have no changes in urinary habits, or no pain or bleeding. I am worried, because I just feel bad overall, and thought about going to urgent care

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you mentioned are suggestive of food poisoning. There can be other bacterial infection that is causing this. Vomiting can lead to dehydration and further weakness.

I suggest you go to ER, the doctors in ER will examine you with all related medical history they might run some blood tests and imaging tests like USG abdomen if needed. They will administer medicines to control the vomiting and pain abdomen. Depending on the test results further management will be done by the doctors for quick recovery.

Hope this helps. Feel free to contact for any further query in the future.
