Suggest Treatment For Muscle Weakness

I seem to have some muscle weakness, like when I try to open a jar, etc. I have a hard time walking up stairs. Sometimes my right foot seems to catch as I walk. I can walk good if not doing stairs. I seem to tire a little easier than before. I am 67 and a type 2 diabetic

The answer to this questions is mutifactorial, it would be beneficial if you start with blood work with your primary doctor before starting treatment
