Suggest Treatment For Muscle Weakness After A Hip Replacement Surgery
I am an athlete who had a hip replacement last year and IT band injury. I have needed to walk steps one at a time rather than consecutively fir almost a year. I am now back to activity but find that my hip and thigh muscles are weak and when I play tennis I cannot move as quickly as before these injuries. How can I treat this so that I can return to my normal activity
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, physiotherapy is the only option you have as long as the history of hip replacement is there it is better to change the life style in accordance to the operation you had gone through because it questionable to have the same activity again hope this information helps.
