General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to muscle spasm.

For that you may require muscle relaxant after physician consultation.

Till then you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally.

Heating pads also helps.

In case of not getting relief you may require MRI after orthopedician consultation

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
