Suggest Treatment For Muscle Pain On The Left Side Of The Chest
The left (my left) side of my rib cage has begun to stick out more than my right. I didn t notice, but I began having pain on my left side, almost like I had pulled a muscle or something. The pain comes off and on, but the protrusion is constant. What is this?
It sounds perhaps like a soft tissue injury, such as a sprain or sprain of an intercostal muscle (the muscle between the ribs), however, an adequqte physical examination of the lesion by a competent provider is needed for a definite diagnosis, The character of the pain indeed sounds consistent with a muskuloskeletal injury.
Hope this helps, wish you the best,
