Suggest Treatment For Multiple Tears In Lung

My grandson is 16 years old and was diagnosed with 3 tears to 1 of his lungs. They guessed it was from treading water in gym class for long periods of time. He is being ambulanced to children s hospital, for the second time in a week. 1 tear has repaired, the other one is repairing and the third is worse. He is currently on oxygen. What treatment will need to be taken to resolve this problem

Hello dear,
It is serious health issue.
Lung tear required 3-5 week to heal.
Following are the treatment:
1. Admission to hospital
2. Put on ventilator : Positive end expiration pressor ventilation is most useful
3. If ventilator required 2-3 days, put patient on tracheotomy (Artificial tube for breathing)
4. Give nutrition and fluid by Intravenous line: to prevent dehydration and for proper nutrition
5. Antibiotics like amoxicillin
6. Anti inflammatory drug like paracetamol with seritopeptidase
7. Diuretics: to prevent fluid up in lungs
8. Broncho dilator
9. Do aspiration to prevent aspiration

You must required close follow up.
