Suggest Treatment For Multiple Sclerosis In An Elderly Person
I am a 63 year old woman with multiple sclerosis. Lately, I have added an allergy medication to the existing arsenal of meds I currently take for ms and am experiencing constipation. My pharmacist recommended p col-rite, but there are no instrctions on the bottle. How often and how many p-col-rite tablets should I take?
P col rite tablet is used to relieve constipation. The dose depends upon need. Dose may be from. 100 MG to. 300 mg in a day.
We recommend to start with one tablet of 100 MG once with full glass of water and wait for few days. If no help you may increase it to 2 tablets even 3 tablets a day if needed.
Besides the tablets, you should also focus on diet. Take more fluids, more fibers like Vegetables, fruits, and do exercise.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
