Suggest Treatment For Multiple Cysts In The Lungs
Is it advisable to give nebulizers daily my fqther is 60 years and takibg duolin he has cough which increases in night doctor suggested that he is small multiple cysts in his lungs which gets filled with mucus and causes cough...presently he takes unicontin tablets

Multiple small cysts in lungs is mostly due to bronchiectesis.
It is chronic lung disease in which patients need to take bronchodilators, mucolytic and expectorant drugs.
So along with Unicontin and duolin, he should also take N acetyl cystine (NAC).
NAC is Pulmonary anti oxidant, mucolytic, expectorant and anti inflammatory drug. It is best for bronchiectesis.
So discuss with his doctor about starting NAC.
