Suggest Treatment For Mouth Ulcers, Watery Eye And Numbness In Face

Hi have had a doctor diagnose me with mouth ulcers 4 days ago was given antibiotics and a gel The last 2 days have noticed that my left eye is very watery and my my left side of my face appears to droop and i try to smile but have no control of my left side of face- what is wrong with me I

Thanks for the query..

As per the symptoms it seems that you are suffering from Facial nerve palsy on the left side.

It may be due to inflammation of the nerve.

At times it may also occur due to Herpes virus which causes cold sores.

As you already have ulcers in the mouth they may be cold sores caused by herpes simplex virus and herpes infection may be a cause of the weakness of left side of your face as the infection causes inflammation of nerve causing its paresis.

I would suggest you to consult a NEUROLOGIST and get checkup done and there should not be any delay in consulting an expert.
