Hello Doctor My kid is 4 months old, he is suffering with mild cough (seems to be dry cough) and unable to breathe-in easily. His breathe ends up in snoring sound (gurrrr sounds). Could you please suggest some tips to ease his breathe and cough problems. Thanks, Ravi
Welcome at HCM I appreciate your health concerns Is he having fever? Any history of TB and Asthma in family? Is he taking feed normally? Any vomiting? Statistically speaking the children do have viral infections in early childhood. Bronchiolitis is very common in this age group. All you need is to stay calm and prevent her from cold. If you have nebulizer then you can use it with normal saline inhalation . it will help in opening respirator tract. If he develops fever , and his feeding decreases then see a paediatrician immediately.... Hope it help Regards
