Suggest Treatment For Migraine

my wife is suffering with severe head ache diagnosed as migrane by our doctor, earlier she was on regular medicationd (topomac 50 mg twice daily for six months ) but three months back we stopped all the drugs , but recently the pains have started again we are treating her with naxdom and ultracet during the pain period, at times it does not work so we have to give her an IM injection of 1AMP stemetil and 1/2amp phenargan. is there any other alternative or better treatment therapy available.
