Suggest Treatment For Mass In Pancreas

my husband has a mass on his pancreas which all the EUS and ERCP, CT scans and MRIs have been inconclusive for pancreatic cancer. On 12-24 they changed out the bile duct stent which was full of stones, sludge and some pus. He was jaundiced and bile was backing up in the liver and pancreas. His CA9-19 has jumped from 200 to 3,000. Could it be pancreatic cancer?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Considering the history you have given, it mostly points towards pancreatic cancer.
If the cancer is of head of pancreas, it obstructs the bile duct with results in solo the sludge, stones. This is called obstructive jaundice. CA9-19 is more specific to pancreas. The sudden exponential increase also points towards pancreatic cancer.
Kindly visit an eminent oncologist.
Early detection can do some favour to your husband.
