Suggest Treatment For Major Fatigue And Hypothyroidism
Hello, I am a 53 year old female, I have hypothyroidism, recent blood tests have proved to be within a normal range. I have been experiencing major fatigue and was thinking I should talk to my Dr. regarding maybe do a stress test or not sure.. I do well with 6 hour of sleep at night but wake up as tired as when I went to bed. Do you have any thoughts..?

Tiredness and fatigue are features of hypothyroidism.
Hypothyroidism is often associated with anemia and thus tiredness and fatigue are common in hypothyroidism.
I suggest you to get thyroid function tests to know the status of thyroid functions.
In case thyroid profile is abnormal, you need to consult your physician for clinical assessment and review of thyroid functions.
Thyroid hormones or thyroxine is used in cases of hypothyroidism to correct thyroid hormone profile.
