Suggest Treatment For Lymph Node Tuberculosis

my father in law diagnosed with lymph node tuberculosis. my whole family in very close contact with him. is it likely to spread? right now he is hospitalized and lumber puncture done to rule out meningitis tuberculosis and wanted to ask whether it is infectious. exposed my family very closely. he had even sticky mucous which was cleaned by me. very worried whether my son exposed who looked after him when my husband went to work. kindly guide me

Tuberculosis is mainly an airborne disease. It is spread with contact a person with active TB who coughs, sneezes, shout, sing etc.

If your father in law is not coughing or sneezing then it may be spread in this way.

If this is not the case, then this is not likely.
