Suggest Treatment For Lymph Node Swelling

Hi, My boyfriend woke up this morning and found a round, hard lump on the back of his neck. It showed up overnight. His lymph nodes aren t swollen and he isn t displaying any other symptoms of an infection. Could this just be a knot in his neck muscles? It just is so distinct and showed up so quickly. It s about the size of a pea and very hard.

Here if swelling not subside in week than FNAC like investigation useful to rule out nature of lesion

According to cause further specific treatment given

If it is reactive lymphedenitis than no specific treatment needed and clinical follow up is done regularly
