Suggest Treatment For Lump On Upper Eyelid

my husband has a lump on his upper eye lid, he has had it for a number of weeks gp thinks it is a cyst, he has blurred vision and feels his eye is larger than usual,he has a eye dr appointment but not for 3 weeks and we are flying os in 3 days should be be worried

Hi.

If it is indeed a cyst then it should not change, but if by chance it is a stye, then it will cause him a lot of discomfort along with discharge from the eye, itching and so on. Please go abiut hot fomentation over the region several times a day for as long as possible. Make sure he cleans his hands every now and then, avoid touching the eye and also avoid touching the fluid (if any is being secreted). Try to meet a doctor soon.
