Suggest Treatment For Lump In Ear

Hi, About a week ago I noticed a lump in my ear, right outside of my ear canal, and it was extremely painful. I thought it was a pimple/blackhead since I ve gotten them before (not this painful however). It s now been a week and it keeps getting worse. It s slightly bigger and still hurts. I ve been putting hydrogen peroxide on it multiple times a day. Sometimes when I try to clean it It will scratch off the scab that s been healed over it. It will bleed a little and ooze with weird yellowish colored... ear liquid? What is happening!!! It s causing the rest of my ear (inside) to turn red and it looks like the pores are way bigger than usual! Is this just a terrible blackhead?! Thanks

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having acute Otitis externa i.e. infection in external ear canal giving this problem.
Now it seems that abscess is formed producing severe pain, swelling and redness in outer ear.
In my opinion you might require one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Put antibiotic ear drops after proper cleaning the ear.
Ok and take care.
