Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

I have had low back pain for 13+ years doctors told me I had DDD tears on my l5s1 disk. The mass amount of opiates did not help still had lots of pain. I don t take any more Pharma pills other then a Bayer or ibuprofen. I do smoke and eat Marijuana which has been very very helpful. Still have pain but it s more tolerable. I move From Florida too Colorado and it seems to be a lot more tolerable. So my question is can higher elevation be helping? After being here I have stopped using the cane, balance still off at times and I find that going slower helps too.

Hi,

Medications. Depending on the type of back pain you have, your doctor might recommend the following: Over-the-counter (OTC) pain relievers. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) or naproxen sodium (Aleve), might relieve acute back pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
