Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain

I have been having accute lower abdominal pain on and off for about 4 months, usually hits me hard in the afternoon and will continue through the night, if I dont take strong pain medication. Pain begins on the left lower quadrant and them moves to the right lower quadrant and radiates to both frontal area of my thighs.... so strong that i end up in the fetal position until meds kick in... nothing else helps .... Tramadol MG every day for the last two weeks... What could this be?

Hello, thank you for your query.

You have not mentioned whether you have undergone any kind of investigation for your pain or not. If not then I'll recommmend you certain tests that you neeed to get done to rule out chances of uretric colic, cystitic colic/cystitis PID (pelvic Inflammatory disease)and even ectopic pregnancy.Get an ultra sound & CT scan of your abdomen. Also get a pregnancy test (you ca also check for ectopic pregnancy in ultrasound). Do u have burning urine, and also bleeding PV? If you do have buring micturation then also get a urine culture sensitivity done. Since your pain comes in the second half of the day, it majorly indicates towards problems in the colon. If thats the case, it'll come in the investigation reports. Still we need to rule out all possibilities.
You can get back to us as soon as possible with these reports.

Take tramadol 35mg with paracetamol or plain tramadol 50 mg (Whichever better suits you)on SOS basis.

Please treat this as urgent and get the investigation started soon.
All the best!
