Suggest Treatment For Low Potassium Levels And Difficulty In Breathing

Hi! My mom is 67yrs old. She s been sick for about 4 weeks now. She was originally diagnosed with a UTI. They treated her with a sulfa based antibiotic to which she had a reaction to and switched medicines and everything apparently cleared up. She now has low potassium and is unable to walk 10ft without becoming out of breathe. She had blood work and a chest x-ray to which came back negative for anything. What else can I bring up to her Dr. to start getting results to?
