Suggest Treatment For Low Platlet Count And A Low Hematocrit Count

my mother has been very sick for the past month she has a kidney stint on her left kidney for the kidney infection her wbc stays elevated and now has low platlet count and a low hematocrit count she is running a low grade fever with chills and is having bad back pain what should we do

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Low platelet count and low haemoglobin indicates bone marrow reduced response. Get a reticulocyte count done to check for bone marrow activity.
2. Bone marrow biopsy will confirm overall activity and any infection of the marrow.
3. Increased WBC count, particularly neutrophils indicate acute infection. Once the kidney infection comes under control, your platelet and haemoglobin should improve. Nutrition particularly proteins, iron and vit b12 is essential.
