General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The high temperature implies that she is fighting an infection. If the infection is severe then it can affect her blood pressure.

The presence of shortness of breath may mean that it is a chest infection. These are usually adequately treated with a course of antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
