Suggest Treatment For Low Blood Pressure And Dizziness
my blood pressure is extremely low and is causing me to be lightheaded and dizzy upon sitting or standing from a lying position. I have had numerous tests done but cannot get an answer. What kind of specialist should I see. It is getting to the point of tremors in my hands. Thank you
Hello! Thank you for you question on HCM! Regarding your concern it seems that you suffer from ortostatic hypotension. To confirm that you should perfom a Head Up Tilt Table test. I don't know your prior medical history and the performed tests. Hope that other reasons are already excluded (cardiac, etc). If Head Up Tilt Table Test results positive then you will be adviced to follow some instructions like taking additional fluid quantities daily, avoidig abrupt standing up from lying position, avoiding prolonged on feet positions; etc, and possibly drugs ccould be prescribed. So to cut it clear and short for you you should consult a cardiologist and perform the test. Hope to have been helpful to you. Feel free to ask me if you have additional information. Greetings from Dr. Iliri
