Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain tastelessness or loss of taste due to cold is a common finding and it is nothing serious as it can occur due to congested sinuses and nasal passages leading to loss of smell and as smell and taste are inter- related cold can lead to loss of both..

You need not to worry and start taking oral decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, continue with Cetrizine and Paracetamol, do steam inhalations, saline nasal rinsing, decongestant nasal sprays like Xylometazoline..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Sip on plenty of warm water and suck throat lozenges..
Chew Vitamin C pellets..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
