Suggest Treatment For Loose Stool In Kid
Hello Doc, My daughter is 1.5 year old. She is suffering from loose moton since 2 days, 3-4 times she passes stool. We have given her econorm sachet twice , but still it has not stopped. The stool has a bad odour(unlike normal). Can I give her Oflomac syrup to stop loose motion ? or please suggest.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Diarrhea usually takes 3-7 days to resolve . You have to maintain good hydration of your child to prevent and treat dehydration by plenty of fluids, and ORS , frequent feeding .
You have to watch for danger signs like poor oral acceptance , decrease urine, dullness, high fever , convulsions, persistent vomiting to urgently consulting your doctor.
Regarding giving or adding medicines you need to consult your doctor .
