Suggest Treatment For Loose Motion Ans Worm

Hi, my 13 month granddaughter has had very loose bm s for a couple of weeks now. her dr. says that it will clear up. she has been to the dr. twice this week and just left the er. her dr. keeps telling my daughter there is nothing wrong. the er dr said she has a parasite. my daughter noticed in her drs. office yesterday a brown/black squiggly thing in her diaper. the dr. even looked and said it was nothing. i know it is a worm of some sort, but cant find it or anything close to it. i need to kno how to treat my granddaughter and ease my daughters mind at the same time...shes 13 months old, what kind of worm can she get....and she does not attend daycare.

Please get a stool examination of your granddaughter for ova and cyst which will help to identify the worm. After submitting pathology sample at lab, you can give her single dose of albendazole syrup( 200mg/5ml), 5ml once and repeat after 15 days.
