Suggest Treatment For Long Lasting Headache And Nausea

Starting about 2 months ago I have a headache that won t go away. No matter what I do. I m getting worried because it s getting worse and worse and last longer and longer. It s on the left side off my forehead above my eye and spreads to my eye and to the right more and more with intensity. I also get nausea non stop accompanied by constant diarrhea that looks like slightly burnt raw meat. Should I be worried?

Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com. Your headache syndrome appears typical for 'migraine' headache. The classical points which you are having in favour of migraine are-
1)Episodic headache
2)Unilateral or hemicranial
3)Retro-orbital
4)Nausea accompanies.

Diarrhea though is atypical but can be seen in 5-10% cases of 'migraine'.However, you need to take the physician's advice for diarrhea as it is constant. Also, please discuss with the physician about your headache and he should put you on the anti-migraine medicine(like beta blockers, tricyclic antidepressants, calcium channel blockers, anticonvulsants, triptans) which suits you the best.I hope it helps.
