General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Hemangioma is a benign (non-cancerous) tumor.

Generally, it is a harmless one and no definitive treatment is required and only close follow-up is required.

If the size is large, surgical removal might be required in view of the chances of rupture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
