Suggest Treatment For Liver Cirrhosis

Hi I had been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis last 2010 and underwent blood transfussion and band ligation at that time. 2 years after I got diagnosed I lived a normal life being able to do my job. But starting April of 2013 I had been going in and out of the hospital for bleeding episodes causing a very low results on my cbc especially my hemoglobin at only 71. Wbc is at 1.56, hematocrit .20, platelet at 102. This results were from my last confinement- Oct 3, 2014. But last may I had a profuse bleeding and after 1 unit blood transfussion went out of the hospital at 79 hemoglobin, i was then again confined last Aug 16 but inspite of the bleeding my hb increased to 86, and last Sept 22 during my routine check up it has already increased to 112 and platelet to almost 200. What do these results indicate? And what may have caused the bleeding which I had recently when my blood work is improving. By the way I am taking moringa juice and 1,050 mg of milk thistle capsule daily. Does this have something to do with the increased hemoglobin

Hello,
1) You have liver cirrhosis since 6 years. Cirrhosis since long duration may develop portal hypertension due to which rate of blood cells breakdown into spleen would increase (so size of spleen would increase).
2) Portal hypertension cause dilatation of vessels at lower part of esophagus as a natural process in effort to normalize portal pressure. Sometimes these esophageal vessels dilate such extent that it rupture during swallowing of hard food and cause blood containing vomiting.
3) Increased Hemoglobin level, platelet count suggest maintained turn-over rate (production vs breakdown) of blood cells.
4) Moringa has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory property mainly, but it does not have any role in increasing value of hemoglobin.
