Suggest Treatment For Liposarcoma In The Lungs

Is it possible to have a liposarcoma appear in your lungs if it started at the kidneys & adrenal glands, went next to stomach & liver; then no symptoms for three years? I have a tiny spot on my right lung and am concerned it maybe the same as my other tumors.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,

I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history it is not possible to spread to lungs. What type of liposarcoma it is and what is grade and stage? As per present WHO guidelines it is:

[a) well differentiated, which includes the adipocytic, sclerosing, and inflammatory subtypes
(b) dedifferentiated
(c) myxoid
(d) round cell and
(e) pleomorphic] After knowing details i can tell you which type of treatment plan is required

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
