Suggest Treatment For Lightheadedness , Chills , Stomach Bloating And Gastritis

I am 66 years old & while traveling in our motorhome today, I fell backward, very hard, on my right buttock, landing on the edge of granite countertop on a center console. When I was finally able to get up off the floor, the pain was almost unbearable. I now have a very large, swollen knot on the right cheek which is hot to the touch & hard to sit. Every time I stand up I get light headed, chill, sick at my stomach, & feel as though I m going to pass out. Is this something I should be concerned about or will time take care of it?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of lightheadedness , chills , stomach bloating and gastritis. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons food poisoning, viral syndrome , medication reaction , systemic pathology and viral gastroenteritis. Need not to worry. Avoid intake of outside food and avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may take history , order blood test and stool test to confirm the diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe antiviral like acyclovir , antacid and analgesic. You should take plenty of fluids to rehydrate body.
